- Bhuwa, Mian
- Son of Khwas Khan, he was a wazir of Sultan Sikandar Lodi (1489-1517) for many years. Sultan Ibrahim Lodi (1517-1526) had him removed and imprisoned. He was accused of being in league with Daulat Khan Lodi, who had rebelled in the Punjab. The old wazir was put in chains and placed under the charge of one of his erstwhile subordinates. While imprisoned he was killed in a contrived explosion. Mian Bhuwa prepared a treatise in Persian on medicines in which the prescriptions of ancient Indian medicinal texts as well as those of Khurasan and Iran were incorporated. It is popularly known as Tib-i Sikandari.
